In 2012, the district of Mitterdorf received the “Flame of Peace” peace monument as an award, because it is located on the pilgrimage route to Mariazell, and very many people go on pilgrimage for peace. It is a reminder and an exhortation at the same time to always think, speak and act in the spirit of peace. 🕊️
The monument was donated by Herta Margarete and Sandor Habsburg-Lothringen.
